AgencySparks hosts a quarterly networking event to connect marketers and agencies. Past formats have included an agency-client speed dating breakfast, a discussion about the future skills marketers will need, and a marketers-only networking breakfast. This month's event was called the #AgencyShowcase because it provided each AgencySparks agency partner the chance to present a quick case study.
Bright and early in the morning, client and agency-side marketers filed into the Terry Executive Education Center in Buckhead, Atlanta, squeezing in a bit of networking before the presentations began. The format was simple: eight specialist marketing agencies had a chance to present for five minutes, with up to five minutes of questions afterwards.
The agencies that presented (and their respective disciplines) were:

- Dragon Army | Mobile Experience
- Creaxion | PR & Cause-Related Marketing
- Swarm Agency | Analytics, PPC, & SEO
- Modo Modo | Creative
- PM3 | Multicultural Marketing
Marketers from big-name Atlanta companies like The Home Depot, Red Bull, Sage Software, Coca-Cola, Wells Fargo, and others came to learn, network, and share with each other and with marketing agencies across a vast range of disciplines. Although this format was more agency-focused, client-side marketers were able to learn about new specialist agencies in a low-pressure atmosphere.
Several of the clients in attendance provided impromptu testimonials for agencies with which they had worked in the past. JoAnn Herald, Chief Marketing Officer of Tropical Smoothie Cafe, recommended Modo Modo Agency to all of the client-side marketers. Serena Levy, Corporate External Affairs Director for Coca-Cola voiced her support for Creaxion and their work with her company.
